Dear Meehan family,
My condolences on the loss of Pat. Pat was such a treasure to all of us at Garnet Valley and especially the English Department. She was the heart of the department who was always there for us at any time. My daughters had Pat as their English teacher and thought the world of her, crediting Pat for so much of their love for and skill in literature. Pat will always remain in the hearts of so many of us who had the honor of working with her. She was a wonderful and talented teacher, friend and colleague. With my sympathy, Kathleen Petrini ~

John and family,
I am so saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. She was a wonderful teacher and mentor, and the two of you were such wonderful friends. I will treasure the memories of assisting her in drama club, seeing her speeding down the hallways of Garnet Valley and hearing her stories, accompanied by animated hand gestures of course! She was a force!

Meehan Family-
Pat taught my husband Jerry and was so very kind to me when I started working at Garnet Valley. She and I had lots of good laughs and she was a mentor to not only a new teacher but a new mother. She always had advice about being a working mom and being a literature teacher. Many times she helped me navigate the world of Garnet Valley. I remember how excited she was when she retired and was going to get to be in Cape May more. I hope she had many years of enjoyment of that with all of you. My heart goes out to you. She was so important to so many kids and colleagues. Please know she is living on in all those she taught - student and fellow teacher.Much love,
Heather Arters
