Obituary of Joseph A Sheridan

Sheridan, Joseph A. Villas, NJ "Fare you well, fare you well, we love you more than words can tell" With deepest sorrow, we announce that Joseph Anthony Sheridan Jr, age 59, our most beloved son, brother, uncle, family member and friend passed away suddenly on Monday, June 8, 2020 while at home of natural causes. Joe will be missed dearly by his mother, Charlotte Sheridan of Glenolden, Pa, his father and step mother Joseph Sr. and Susan Sheridan of Willistown, Pa, daughter Stephanie, sister Kelly Kyle of Glenolden, Pa, brother Michael (Kim), nephews Michael Sheridan Jr., Kevin Kyle Jr. (Nicole) and Chris Ross along with many loving family members and special friends. Born in Philadelphia in 1961, Joe was raised in Delaware County, Pa. After time spent for work in Scranton, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Delaware, Joe moved to Villas, NJ where he established a successful painting restoration business and for a time hosted a Timeless Tracks radio program on Cape Island Radio where he was able to enjoy his love for music. Joe was passionate about politics, having obtained his degree in Political Science from University of Rochester, and he loved to debate current events. He had a soft spot and a love for animals and is especially missed by Stella Blue, his loyal and faithful cat. Joe had countless friends and their outreach to our family has been a comfort in this difficult time. A Celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date when conditions permit, and details will be shared when available. We hope all of Joe's friends can attend. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Animal Outreach of Cape May County in Joe's memory.
