Betty J Iacono, age 85, of Cape May Court House passed away peacefully Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Court House Convalescent Center. Betty was born March 1, 1928 in Philadelphia, and has been a Cape may area resident since 1951. She was employed by the Watson Turkey Farm in Turnersville, NJ and later by Dr. Richard Renza's office in Wildwood. She was a member of St Raymond's RC Church, organized senior citizen bus trips, and enjoyed playing bingo. Betty is survived by her husband of 36 years Louis Iacono; her sons: Dale (Doris) Iacono of Wildwood, NJ & Kevin (Mary) Iacono of Bluffton, SC; her daughters: Debbie (Paul) Rotter of Jim Thorpe, PA & Kathy (Chuck) Gibbons of Blufffton, SC; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Lillian Bartlett. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
