Haug, Roy A., age 60 of Villas, passed away at his home with his wife at his side on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Born in Huntington, NY, Roy was raised in Northport NY and has been an area resident for 24 years. He served in the US Marine Corp during peacetime. He loved people & will be remembered for his quick wit & awesome sense of humor & for his generosity. He loved his family more than anything else in this world. Before he became ill Roy loved riding his motorcycle & working on his car. He was very talented in many ways. Every job he held had something to do with cars (one of his many passions). He enjoyed watching football and was a fan of the Jets & Giants. He was a huge music fan & was learning to play guitar & bass (his newest passion). He was predeceased by his mother Linda Davis. Roy is survived by his wife of almost 38 years Linda, daughter Nikki Haug, father Roy (Joan), brothers Eric and David (Karen), sister Deborah & several nieces and nephews, as well as mother-in law Winnifred, brother-in-law Eugene (Suzanne) & sister-in-law Tracy, & his pretty kitty girl cat Hope. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Contributions in memory of Roy can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-1942.
