Obituary of Stephen Wayne Gardner

Stephen W. Gardner age 71 of Erma passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2020 at the Victoria Manor Nursing Home. He was born in N. Wildwood on December 16, 1948 and was a lifelong resident of Erma. His families homestead was on Meadowview Road in Erma. Stephens family were Mayflower descendants of John Howland. He was a graduate of Lower Cape Reg. High School class of 1967. He had worked as a merchant seaman for Sun Oil in Marcus Hook, PA and also had worked on several clam boats out of Cape May. Stephen enjoyed Ford Thunderbirds and had owned several of them through the years. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Gladys Gardner. He is survived by his brother Thomas (Debra) Gardner. Stephen also leaves several nieces, nephew and cousins of the Matthews and Whilden families.
