“We have lost part of our existence losing our sister. While Barbara was my sister in law she was more like a sister. Her smile, our happy times together will always be with us. Our hearts are in pain she meant so much to us. She was a loving caring person. So now Barbara you are in God’s kingdom-heaven. We will miss talking to you, hugging you and being with you. We will see you again!

It was thanks to Barbara’s matchmaking that she got her sister Carolyn and I together. Her kindness gave us 25 happy years together and still counting. I count it a blessing to have been in Barbara’s joyful presence during these years and to have shared in the kindness and love that she always showed. I treasure the many happy memories of time spent with her. I will always remember her as a sweet, gentle soul and with great gratitude for introducing me to her sister and accepting me as a brother.

Dear Barbara, I am so lucky to have met a wonderful, kind and thoughtful "LADY" like you. From the first time I met you i saw your big beautiful smile making me feel so welcome and apart of your family right away. When I was around you I felt so much joy, love, overwhelming warmth and comfort. When I would come to Florida or the beach the first thing I always wanted to do is see you and Bob, I couldn't wait to see you both, spending time talking and laughing. I will be so lost now when I come to Cape May knowing I won't see you, run over to your home to get my big hello hug, see your big beautiful smile, just getting to sit and relax, talk, laugh and share. I will miss having our family lunch and dinners with you. You will turely be missed very much. Thank you for letting me be part of your life, enjoying your friendship and sharing your love. All my love to you and to you Bob, you both will be in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Love, Sherry Loose

I first met Barbara about 20 years ago through her sister, from the first time I met Barbara I felt like I belonged just like an old friend, she always made me feel welcomed and glad to see me. She always made me feel very comfortable in her home asking me, can I get you anything, you want something to drink, you want something to eat, always trying to make you feel important and that she was so glad to see you. I was very lucky to met someone like Barb in my lifetime she is a very nice and rare person. I will always think and remember Barb and what a Wonderful person she was and miss all the long Great talks we had. Barbara will be very much be missed. Love, Diane Grose

Barbara, my beloved, precious sister. For almost 86 years we’ve shared joy, laughter, special fun times, and along the way some tears. Our daily contact made life special. Her love of flowers, home décor, and cooking contributed to her many attributes. Most of all her kindness and love made her the sister I loved so much. Only God and fond memories can help me through her absence in my daily life. I love her forever. Carolyn Brown

My Aunt Barbara has been such a positive presence throughout my life. I looked forward to and loved every visit with her. Her gentle good humor and kind heart made me smile inside and out, and they always will when I think of her. Her memory will offer enduring comfort that there are genuinely good people in the world. I am sad now to miss her, but forever grateful for the gift of having her in my family.
