So many great memories. Sitting in our screen houses playing cards hearing your family laughing. Your dad sitting in his chair relaxing. Later on your parents looking out for my dad. May he RIP

I remember the many days I would spend with Margie and Chrissy at their grandparents house. We were a little too loud or laughed a little too much, as kids do, but I always felt welcomed and enjoyed my time there! Mr. and Mrs. Moore will always hold a special place in my heart...they were great people.

Only those closest to me know why I chose this picture to remember him by. Nothing else matters.

It seems only yesterday when we would go to the beach for the day, sit under the umbrellas, then go back to the shore house to barbeque dinner and finally enjoy the evening sitting in the screen house. Roy and Rita were so very kind to their daughter Rita's friends. Those were great times and good memories. Roy will missed but is now in heaven with Rita.

Was lucky enough to keep him in this play for 89 years. He often talked about being left behind...his wife, most family, and most friends had all preceded him to the next stage. I reminded him that he would see them all again at the production party.
But he had to stay brave on his stage & complete the final act, before the curtain would come down. And when that curtain fell cause I knew it would someday. I would be there applauding your performance as husband, father, grandfather, and friend. RIP dad we had a good run

I had the privilege to meet Roy almost five years ago while on a "girl's weekend" at the shore. It was so special to go out to breakfast and eat dinner with him - the conversation was always interesting and informative. He will be missed, but memories of him will live on!

A great man who had an equally great family, especially his wife Rita. Many times I have been to Roy's home where you were always welcome, and always had good conversation. I will miss stopping by on my bike rides to chat outside with him. I would call him"old school", and I mean that as a sincere compliment. God will keep him safe, he did a good job here on earth.

God looked around His garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful; He always takes the best.
He saw your road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyelids and whisper, “Peace be thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you. but you didn’t go alone, for parts of us went with you the day God called you home.
Rest in peace. Love you, Rita and George Sprenkle
