Maskell, Jr., LeRoy "Putt Putt", 77, an area resident of Villas for 43 years and formerly of Nyack, NY, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020. LeRoy served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a member of AMVETS of Villas. He went on to be a self-employed painter and enjoyed crabbing, dancing, listening to music, baking, cooking, woodworking, painting crafts and had a passion for holiday decorating. LeRoy is predeceased by his mother Katherine Kiselak Ottaviano and Stepfather Nicholas, his father, LeRoy Maskell, Sr., and his brother Thomas Maskell. Left to cherish is memory are his children, Andrea (Terry) Gorman and Dawn (Dan) Cremin, his long-time companion Violet Hanagan, his grandchildren, Zachary Gorman and Alexis Cremin and his sisters, JeanAnn Frank and Lorraine Dougherty. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 14 at 2pm with visiting from 1pm – 2pm at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., North Cape May, NJ. Interment will follow immediately at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd., Cape May Court House. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com
