James (Jimmy/Hender) Hinnershitz, 64 of Wildwood NJ, passed away at home on February 2, 2020. He
was born on August 3, 1955 in Camden (Cramer Hill) NJ to the late Edward C and Katherine (Ulrich)
Hinnershitz. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School.
He was the ultimate Philadelphia sports fan; he lived and breathed for the Eagles and Phillies. He was a
lover of the beach who moved to the Jersey Shore several years ago and made it a point to catch as
many sunsets on the water as he could. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, who spent countless
hours trying to catch the Big One.
He was preceded in death by Cathy and Ada Hinnershitz (sisters) and Edward Hinnershitz (brother).
He is survived by his 4 children: Russell (Jill Thomas) Hinnershitz, Wendy (Lee Irwin) Hinnershitz, Felicia
Hinnershitz, Caroline (Jason Ingram) Hinnershitz; 5 grandchildren: Edward Hinnershitz, Myranda
Rodriguez, Cassandra Martin, Lisa Hinnershitz, and one on the way; sisters Carol Hopkins and Barbara
Hunsaker; several nieces and nephews; Diahni his BFFF and Pumkin, his bestie.
