OBITUARY
LeRoy H Stitt, 76, of Rio Grande passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Canarsie, NY, he has been a Cape May area resident most of his life. LeRoy was a stone mason working throughout the Cape May area. He served his country in the US Army and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Goshen. LeRoy is survived by his wife of 53 years Shirley (nee Justice) Stitt; his daughter Wendy (Timothy) Myers of Del Haven; and his daughter Melody McQuillan of Rio Grande. Also surviving are: his sister Margaret Elliott of Goshen; his brother Leon Stitt of Goshen; his brother Robert Stitt of FL; his brother Thomas (Dorothy) Stitt of Green Creek; 5 grandchildren: Justin (Gabrielle) Vitola, Tyler Vitola, Sean McQuillan, Colleen McQuillan, & Kelly McQuillan; and 3 great grandchildren: Justin, Sophia, & Jason. Funeral services will be private. He was preceded in death by his sister Eleanor Costa and his brother Earl Griggs.
