Fleming, Barbara, age 87 of Middle Township, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020. Born in Salem, NJ and formerly of Silver Spring, MD, Barbara vacationed in the Cape May area since 1985 before moving here 20 years ago. A National Betty Crocker Award Winner, Barbara was an avid tennis player winning many awards, and enjoyed sewing. She was also a former president of the Women's Club of South Charleston, WV. Barbara is survived by her children Steven Kent (Stephanie) Fleming, daughter-in-law RuthAnn Mason Fleming, grandchildren Annie Elizabeth and Christopher Lee, sister Claudette Doerr, several beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband J. Kent, son Donald Lee Fleming, and brothers Leroy and Edward Bradway. A funeral service for Barbara will be held at 11am on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May, NJ; friends may call prior to service from 10-11am. Interment will immediately follow service at Fairview Cemetery, 416 Route 9, Cape May Court House, NJ. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com.
