Obituary of Michael A Allen

Michael A Allen, age 56, of Villas passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Michael was born June 23, 1957 in Point Pleasant, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident for 45 years. He is the son of the late Richard and the late Shirley (Preston) Allen. Mike was a commercial fisherman his whole life working for the Lobster House Fleet and several other local boats. He was a member of Local 255 Carpenter's Union. Mike loved the water (whether it was working on it or surfing in it), and he was also a Master Diver and a certified Rescue Diver. He is survived by his son Michael Allen, Jr.; his brothers: Craig Allen, Robert Savins, & Richard Allen; and his sister: Debra Andrews.
