Michael J. Hubert, age 53 of Lower Township, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 12, 2019. Born in Yeadon, PA, Michael moved to Cape May County as a child, where he grew up and became an avid commercial fisherman for over 29 years. Scalloping was his life until he suffered a brain injury in 2007. Upon recovering, he continued to keep himself busy helping anyone he could. Michael also spent as much time as he could with his grandkids.
Michael is survived by his only child, daughter Jennifer Nieves (Manuel), 3 grandchildren Brookelynn Cox, Josslynn Cox and his pride and joy, his only grandson Thomas Cox. Predeceased by the love of his life and life-long companion, Deborah J. Patterson.
