Obituary of Elizabeth A. Caulkins

Elizabeth A. Caulkins, age 70 of North Cape May, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. She was born on December 4, 1948 in Gainesville, Florida to Davidson and Marion Heacock. Elizabeth was a resident of the Cape May area for over 19 years and was formerly of Laurel, MD. She graduated from Laurel High School Class of 67, and went on to study at the Fleet Business School in Annapolis, MD. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Laurel Government in the Planning and Zoning Department for 15 years. Elizabeth enjoyed cooking, painting, and attending Bible study. She is survived by two children; Brian (Laura) Caulkins and Teresa (George) Horesta; six grandchildren; Joseph Daniel (Michelle Elizabeth) Caulkins, Alexandra Wood Caulkins, Samantha Lynn Caulkins, Michael Anthony Caulkins, George Chase Horesta, and Zachary Reed Horesta. She also leaves a nephew Todd (Pam) Heacock and is preceded in death by her brother, David Heacock. A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Saturday November 9, 2019 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204 where relatives and friends will be received from 1-2 PM. In lieu the of flowers, donations can be made to the Lower Cape Senior Center (Villas, NJ), the Cape Island Baptist Church, or the AtlanticCare Cancer Institute (Cape May Court House, NJ).
