I first met Al, because (then) wife Sara was hired to work at the TRACEN Cape May Barber Shop, in 1989. I had the pleasure of hearing Al play his saxophone, on more than one occasion. I was stationed in the area twice, first from 1989-1992 and then again from 1997-2003. Thousands of Coast Guard Personnel had their haircut, done by AL.
