McBride, Beatrice S., age 97 of Villas, passed away Saturday October 12, 2019. Born in and formerly of Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, Beatrice has been an area resident since 1985. She worked and volunteered at St. Anne's RC Church Rectory in Philadelphia, and was active in the St. Anne's Social Community. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph (1998), and siblings Raymond, Joseph, Anthony, Eleanor and Dorothy. Beatrice is survived by her children Joseph Jr. (Catherine), Beatrice Weissman (Wayne), Charles J. (Patricia), Anna May Brown (Charles), and Mary Frances Adams (Andrew), 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and brother Charles Shilling. A mass of Christian burial will be held 11am on Friday, October 18th, 2019 at the Parish of St. John Neumann, St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Rd, N Cape May; friends may call prior to service from 9:45am -10:45am. Internment will immediately follow service at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorial donations in Beatrice's name can be made to American Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061-0515. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com.
