Hart, Ruth J., age 96 of N. Cape May, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Villas, Ruth has been an area resident for 40 years. She worked as a PA State Corrections Officer in Philadelphia, was a former Republican Committee Woman in the 1980's, active at the Senior Center in Villas, and Daughters of America in Tuckahoe.
She is predeceased by her husband's James Miller and William Hart, longtime companion Edward Pietrowicz (1993), and sons James Miller Jr (2007), John Miller (2006), and Dennis Miller (1983), and sisters and brothers. Ruth is survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nephew Clyde (Joan) Fairman and friend Joan Deavitt.
A Memorial Service for Ruth will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May; friends may call one hour prior to service from 10am-11am. Inurnment will be privately held. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com.
