Jordan, Mary E., age 72 of Villas, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019. Born in Philadelphia to the late Martin and Mary Kennelly, Mary lived in New Egypt, NJ for over 40 years summering in Villas her whole life before retiring here last year. She was Catholic by faith and loved animals, often rescuing animals in need. Mary enjoyed the sunsets on the bay and being with her family, especially her grandchildren, with whom she would walk the beaches collecting sea glass. She is predeceased by her parents, brother Martin Kennelly, and sisters Margaret Lacon and Jeanette Kowalski. Mary is survived by her best friend and husband of 52 years, James, children Mark Jordan and Megan (Robert) Strickland, and grandchildren William and Henry Strickland. Services will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Mary's name to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-1942.
