Obituary of Robert Charles Ludwick

Robert Ludwick passed away suddenly on August 20, 2019. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Laurence "Larry" Ludwick and Elizabeth "Sweetie" Ludwick (nee Darigol), his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Mascio, brother Larry Ludwick and sister-in law Mary Ludwick, and wife Sandy Ludwick. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Later in life Bob moved to Cape May and found love again with Jean Fleming. He adored his "Honey" and they were inseparable. He cherished his time with his extended family John Edwards and Susan Fleming, Sophia Cirino, Marisa Cirino, and Mark Fleming. Jean introduced him to the Cape May social life where he enjoyed playing pool at the Cape May VFW, attending church and fellowship at the Lighthouse Church, and socializing with his many friends from the Cape May Singles Group. Bob was an easy-going guy who always greeted you with a smile and a kind word. He had many talents and interests. His brother taught him carpentry and he worked in the trades for many years. He taught himself how to weld, play the guitar, and work on cars. Bob was always the life of the party by telling his stories and entertaining everyone. A memorial service will be held at The Lighthouse Church, 1248 US 9, Cape May Court House, NJ on September 14, 2019. Visitation will be 10:30 to 11:00 the service will begin at 11:00. In lieu of sending flowers you can make a donation to the Light House Church in his memory.
