Obituary of Harry W Beifuss

Harry W. Beifuss of North Cape May, passed away on July 14th, 2019 at the age of 85. Born to parents Harry and Ethel Beifuss (nee Fanger) in Philadelphia, PA on October 12, 1933, Harry graduated from South Philadelphia High School in 1951.
Harry had a passion for baseball and was drafted into the St. Louis Browns baseball organization at the age of 18. He was a pitcher during that time and played for many different teams, later moving to New York City where he spent many years and met his wife Maria. In his time in New York he was a draftsman and later a limo driver. In 1986 he moved his family to North Cape May, NJ and retired as a private citizen working at the Coast Guard Base. Harry loved history and traveling to Germany to see his in-laws. Harry especially enjoyed playing golf and going to the beach. He was an avid reader and music lover and was always out and about.
He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Doris Keck, and his beloved wife Maria Beifuss (nee Kramps). Harry is survived by his daughter Christina and husband Christopher Galdieri, and his sister Carol Jankauskas. He is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews from both sides of the family.
A graveside service, open to family and friends, will be held at Cold Spring Cemetery at 11 am on Saturday, July 27th followed by a Celebration of Life.
