Obituary of Patricia Ann Chace

Beloved Patricia "Patty" Ann Chace, 66, of Cape May Beach, passed away on July 1, 2019. Patty was born in Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic HS in1970. She then went on to earn her Bachelor's from Weiner College and then her Masters from Temple. Her career began and continued for numerous years here in the Cape May community. Patty achieved many awards throughout her career as well through the church community for many years. Her readings in mass and her hard years of working for Christmas plays that resulted in superb results. Patty worked diligently as the Director of "Cape Counselors" she then moved on to starting and fulfilling with "Rainbow of Hope" which continues going strong today. Patty is survived by her husband of 29 years, Stewart "Stu" Chace, her sons Anthony, Frankie and Jamie Cristaudo, her brother Richard "Rick" (Maria) Gillespie and his children, Brian, Robert and Christian, her sister Eileen Gillespie and her uncle the Rev. Fr. Robert "John" McFadden, her Aunt Peg Graham and her sister in law Carol Spelman. Patty's family and friends will always remember her as a very diligent hardworking and loving individual and will be missed by us all. Visiting will be held on Tuesday, July 9, at St. John of God Church, 680 Town Bank Rd., North Cape May, NJ, starting at 9:45 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am.
