Shanks, Rita, age 76 of Wildwood, formerly of Roxborough, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Smith, parents Eugene and Marie Wilson. Survived by her daughters Donna (Frank)Daniels, Susan (Tony) Gardner, and Jennifer (the late Bert Thame) Shanks, and grandchildren Brianna Gardner, Evan Thame, Christina Daniels, Anthony Gardner, Fiona Thame and Ryan Thame. Services for Rita will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 145 Rector Street, Philadelphia PA, 19127; visitation at 11:00am, mass at 11:30am.
