My dad was a good, good man. His passing is extremely painful. Dad had it difficult growing up and joined the Merchant Marines at age 16. He often talked about his adventures and how it was the most exciting time of his life. He traveled the world even though it was during very dangerous times.
Dad met Mom on a blind date and they were married for 65 years until her passing two years ago. Her death was extremely hard on him as all of us. He was a wonderful husband and father and was always there for us when we needed him. He was always willing to help a neighbor and well liked by everyone.
Dad will be extremely missed by all of us. RIP and give Mom a big hug for all us. Your loving daughter Roseanne.

My condolences at this time of loss. I am just grateful for the fact that Karin and I were able to reunite Don and his brother, my Pop Pop, Walt, a few times over the last few years. I know it meant so much to my Pop Pop to spend some time with him and I truly enjoyed getting to know him as well. Pop Pop wanted to send his love as well.

Sorry for your loss. He was a great man. He is in heaven now with the Lord. I still look across the driveway and look to see if he is on his ladder painting the windows. RIP Mr. Vandermay.
