Thomson, Rosemary A., age 91 of Avalon, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Rosemary was born in Cliffside Park, NJ, and has been a resident of Avalon for 10 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for JD Management in Hackensack, NJ, and attended and was very active for many years at Holy Rosary Church in Edgewater, NJ. Rosemary was also a very accomplished seamstress. She is predeceased by husband John P Thomson (1966), son Robert, her parents, Howard and Rose (nee Farley) McConnell, and two brothers Howard and Clayton McConnell. Rosemary is survived by her son John (Wanda) Thomson, daughter Sharon (Philip) Cooper, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at the Holy Rosary Church, 365 Undercliff Avenue, Edgewater, NJ. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com.
