Somma, Ann (nee Tedesco), age 98 of N Cape May, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018. Born in Orange, NJ and formerly the Essex and Warren County area, Ann has been a Cape May resident for 2 years. During World War II, she was a welder for GE and later settled as a homemaker. She also supported the Rosie the Riveter organization with their Rosie Bond campaign. Ann was also a member at Our Lady of Lords Church in West Orange, NJ. She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Emma (nee DiRocco) Tedesco, and brother Charles Tedesco. Ann is survived by her husband Joseph, sons Joseph Jr. and Thomas (MaryAnn), and twins Vincent (Carol) and Maryanne (Raymond), 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A funeral mass for Ann will be held 11am on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at the Parish of St. John Neumann / St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Rd, N Cape May; friends may call from 9am-10am prior to service at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May. Entombment will be held the following day, Friday, December 7th, 2018 at 11am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Dr, E Hanover, NJ. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com.
