Keenan, Carol I, age 84 of Villas, passed away on Saturday October 27, 2018. An area resident for over 60 years, Carol worked as a Librarian Assistant at the Cape May County Library in CMCH for over 30 years. She served in the US Navy during the Korean War, and a member of the Lower Township Republican Club, Cape May Count Republican Club, American Legion, Women in Military Service Organization, Villas Packers Booster Club, Mothers Club of Millman Recreation, and Waves National Women of the Sea Services. She was married for 39 years to the late James F Keenan (1996), and is also predeceased by her son Richard D Keenan (1989). She is survived by her children Barbara (Sargent) O'Shea, Sandra (William) Jeffers, Dolores (Dennis) Rambo, Michael Keenan, Daniel Keenan, and James (Carla) Keenan, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and sister Marguerite Pulley of Buffalo, NY. A viewing for Carol will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 10-11am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May; funeral service will begin at 11am. Internment will immediately follow service at the Cold Spring Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ. Memorial donations may be made in Carol's name to the Cape May County Zoo, 707 North Route 9, Cape May Court House, NJ, 08210. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com.
