I am so, so sorry to hear. To his family and to many friends my deepest condolences. Don was one great guy, so caring and special. He was involved with many of us that lobbied to make,e the appraisal business into a proud professional industry. He was a great national instructor that taught so many folks though out the USA, he taught many courses for the appraisal business. I had the extreme pleasure of co-teaching with him..
Don taught me many things, he was well loved by hundreds of members though our great country, his humor and his 'Down home New Jersey Personally" were well known, I was proud with my departed wife Julianne When he invited us to be there when he was brought into the church, He love his God, his family and his country.. I love the picture you selected. It is Don as I remember him. Don talked me into participating in The Marines Toys for Tots, in Wildwood, NJ for a few years. Today with love and a lot of respect for a good man, I make this tribute to him. I will not be able to attend because I am in a wheelchair and no longer can walk. My wife Julie and I will be there in our hearts. for all that loved this wonderful servant of God.. God has given us a very special gift, the gift of memories, I shall be remembering the many, many memories of my friend Don.

It is with sadness and rejoicing that I think of all of you. Sad of course for Don not being here any longer but rejoicing knowing exactly where he is. Face to face with his Savior. Very thankful to have known him at CPC and enjoyed his humor and enthusiasm for the Lord for many years. He will surely be missed by all.

Don was a truly wonderful person, and a great friend. He would talk with me about my father, who was his high school teacher, and he had many memories of me as a child; but in later years we became friends through the Cape May County Army National Guard Association, where we shared many breakfasts and some great conversations. My deepest condolences to his family. I can only hope that knowing how much he loved you all helps you through the pain and gives you peace. God speed, Don. May you Rest In Peace.
