Tedesco, Ronald, age 59 of Cape May, formerly of Somerville, NJ, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018. An area resident since 1973, he graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School. He worked for the former Jackson Mountain in Cape May, the Grand Hotel for many years, and Delaney's Irish Pub in Cape May. He loved the Phillies and wearing Phillies clothing. He was once a candidate for mayor of Cape May. Always happy and upbeat, the legendary "Uncle Ronnie" was known to many of the locals as the unofficial mayor of Cape May. He is predeceased by his parents Richard and Shirley Mason, and brothers Raymond, Joseph and Gary. Ronald is survived by his brother Werner (Sarah) Tedesco and sister Gloria (Max) Songer, nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May; friends may call one hour prior to service from 10am until time of service.
