Obituary of Patricia Tanaka

Tanaka, Patricia Ann (nee Farrell), passed away peacefully at her Cape May NJ home Friday, August 24th, 2018. Born January 12th, 1932 in Manchester, England. Patricia married Edward in England October 19th,1957; soon after moved to Brooklyn, NY and worked in NYC for the British Government. Moving to Jackson Heights Queens, their son Matthew was born in 1966. Patricia later worked as a postal clerk for 20 years and retired to Cape May NJ in 1998.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Cape May, Dicken's Fellowship, the Garden Club of Cape May, and the Red Hat Society. She loved yard sales, collecting antiques and having a flutter at the casinos in Atlantic City. Halloween and Christmas were her favorite holidays. Patricia will be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends.
She is predeceased by her sister Dorothy and brother Matthew. Patricia is survived by her husband Edward and son Matthew.

A service will be held at 2pm on Thursday September 6th, 2018 at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, 612 Franklin Street, Cape May, NJ.
