Taylor, Thomas A., 76, of N. Cape May, passed away on Thursday August 16, 2018. Thomas was born in Philadelphia, PA to Thomas and Theresa Taylor. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a finished carpenter for the Lower Merion School District of Ardmore, PA. He was past President of American Legion Post 338 in Havertown, PA, a member of Ardmore, PA Volunteer Fire Company, member of Archer Epler Drum and Bugle Corp of Upper Darby, PA, member of Knights of Columbus Stella Maris Council 3546 of Erma, NJ, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly 671 of Wildwood, member of D.A.V. of Del Haven, NJ, and a member of American Legion Post 184 of Wildwood, NJ. Thomas is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret (nee Baldwin), his daughters Theresa Stanton and Lynn (James) Hoover, his brothers Ed, Joseph and George "Buddy" and sister Mary Theresa Kealey, ten Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 23rd from 9am to 10:30am at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. John Neuman Parish- St. John of God Church, 680 Town Bank Rd., N. Cape May. Interment will follow at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House. Donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
