McGay, Charles E., age 77 of Townbank passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Berlin, NJ, Charles has been an area resident for over 46 years. He worked for John Manville Fiberglass in Berlin for over 32 years, and had enjoyed working for Lower Twp. Rescue Squad. He also enjoyed baseball, especially the Phillies, and coach and refereeing for his kids' games. He is predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (2003). Charles is survived by his children Charles (Nancy) McGay, II, Kelly McGay, Tina McGay, and Elizabeth (Casey Crumpton) McGay, 5 grandchildren Anthony, Christina, Madison, Alexandra and Gabriella, sister Dorothy Wurst and sister-in-law Ginnie Wilkins. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 7th at 2pm at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May; friends may call one hour prior to service from 1pm-2pm. Interment will be held immediately following service at the Cold Spring Cemetery, Cold Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles' memory to the Cape May County Animal Shelter, 110 Shelter Rd, DN 132, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
