Obituary of Timothy J. Cassidy

Timothy J. Cassidy, 62, of North Cape May, NJ, passed away on June 19th, 2018, peacefully in his home. Tim was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School in 1974, and earned his bachelors degree in political science from Stockton University in 1979. After spending many years at sea as a merchant marine, he followed his passion of helping others and sharing laughs and became a nursing home administrator, where he worked at various facilities in the tri-state area. Tim is survived by his three children, Rebecca, Shane, and Elizabeth Cassidy; his ex-wife Gail Cassidy; his siblings, Karen Stratoti (Stephen), Thomas Cassidy (Paula), and Susan Arpa (Louis); many nieces and nephews, and his best friend, Francesca Vasile. Tim is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Dolores Cassidy. Being Irish, Tim knew that a good funeral is better than a bad wedding, so family and friends are invited to come raise a glass and celebrate Tim's life with a memorial service and luncheon on Monday, June 25th at noon at the Cape May Lewes Ferry Terminal's Sunset Lounge, 1200 Lincoln Boulevard, North Cape May.
