Obituary of John Perkins

Perkins, John S., III, age 61 of Villas, passed away on Sunday, June 10th. Formerly of Levittown, PA, John has been an area resident for over 38 years. He served in the US Coast Guard as a cook on a Coast Guard Cutter and was also a commercial fisherman and head chef at God Mothers in West Cape May. John was a member of the Disabled American Veterans of Del Haven, and loved flying kites, especially with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father John, 2 brothers Glen and Jeff, and grandmother Gladys Perkins. John is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lisa, mother Elizabeth Eyler, children Alicia Jackson (nee Perkins, husband Bryan) of Alaska, John H (Shelby), William Perkins and Evan Perkins, both of Villas, 2 grandchildren Jacob Perkins and Savanna Crowly, brother Dean Eyler, sisters Patricia (Bob) Halko, Cindy Eyler, and Susan Eyler, sister-in-law Linda Foster, sister-in-law Noreen Perkins, brother-in-law Henry (Diana) Moyer, brother-in-law Steven (Sando) Moyer, aunt Carol (Lee) Mathias, uncle Douglas (Bernadette) Perkins, mother-in-law Sylvia Moyer, and many friends.
