Joseph J. Meehan, "Pop" age 87 of Villas, NJ. - Formerly from Philadelphia and Jenkintown, died peacefully on May 19, 2018. He was US Navy veteran of the Korean War, alum of SE Catholic HS for Boys (Neumann-Goretti) and LaSalle College.
Survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary D. (Killeen) and his 7 children, Suzanne Jenkins (Michael), Lori (Terry Larkin), Joseph, Jr. (Christine Facciola), Grace Hessman (Patrick), Francis (Shelly Howard), Michael and James.
14 Grandchildren: Heather Meehan, Courtney Presser, Nicholas Bodkins, Jillian Goldhahn, Melissa Chambers, Alana Miller, Liam Miller, Meghan Meehan, Zachary Meehan, Ryan Meehan, Sara Meehan and Benjamin Hessman. (Deceased, Rosemarie Miller (2004) and Brendan Miller (1983)) 7 Great Grandchildren: Nathaniel and Joshua Gittings, Shane and Mattison Presser, Alexander and Natalia Boyizigies and Parker Chambers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on June 1, 2018, at Our Lady of Angels, 35 E Mechanic St, Cape May Court House, NJ, with burial immediately following at Cape May Veteran's Cemetery in Cape May Court House, NJ. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com.
