Obituary of Bruce Coughlin

Coughlin, Bruce Sr., age 63 of Villas, passed away Friday, April 13th, 2018. Bruce was originally from Philly and, like many, transplanted to NJ. He worked at the MUA for 25 years and loved all Philadelphia sports. Bruce was with his wife Shirley for 45 years and enjoyed bowling and gardening together. He was an excellent husband, brother, father and grandfather, He loved his family unconditionally and was always giving to others. He not only gave in life but even after his death donated his organs to those in need. His charisma, we jokingly called the "Coughlin Charisma", would lighten up rooms and anyone around him. Those who knew him knew he cursed like a sailor but said "Please" and "Thank You" like a saint. Bruce was survived by his wife Shirley, brother Patrick Coughlin (Linda), children Michelle Garrison (Steve Powell), Jennifer Loeffler (Robert), Bruce W. Jr (Jennifer Day), Anna Garrison Price (Travis), and Osmond Garrison, and 14 grandchildren – Steven, Nate, Paige, Joshua, Tyler, Gavin, Gabe, Alia, Michael, Amelia, Natalia, Marcus, Kaira, and Delilah. A funeral service for Bruce will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May, NJ; friends and family may call from 10am-11am prior to service. An interment will be privately held.
