Malone," Shoey" Joseph H. age 86 passed away on April 14, 2018 with his daughters by his side. He was born July 27, 1931 in Philadelphia and was raised in the Fairmount Section of Philadelphia. He later moved to Pitman, NJ where he raised his family. Joe had worked as an expediter for many years at Struthers-Dunn in Pitman. Joe was a faithful catholic as a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Pitman. He was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus of the Archbishop C.J. Damiano Assembly and was a member of the K of C Council 6247 in Pitman where he was a Past Grand Knight. He was an avid lifelong Philadelphia sports fan. Joe enjoyed going to the Senior Center in Glassboro in his later years. Joe's passion was spending time with family, especially his seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce (nee Hagan) Malone (2009) and twelve siblings. He is survived by three daughters; Joanne (Mark) Dewey, Sally (Andy) Simmons and Joyce (Jack) Buckley. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Kyle, Lindsey and Tyler Dewey, TJ and Sarah Simmons and Jack and Marissa Buckley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday at the Mary Mother of Peace Parish/ Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave., Pitman. Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 and Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park Condolences at www.evoyfuneralhome.com
