Obituary of John Joseph Baum, Sr

John Joseph Baum, Sr., 77, of Villas, NJ, passed away in Florida on Monday March 12, 2018. Son of the late Nellie Ida and William Baum. John worked as a carpenter for Bowman Construction for 20 years before working for Cape May County Facility and Services where he retired after 28 years in 2008. Catholic by faith, John attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Church and St. Raymond Church. He was a former member of the Villas Fire Company. He is survived by his three daughters, Deborah (Robin) Myers, Kim Keeler and Karen Sippel his 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. John was predeceased by his wife, Lillian F. Baum, a son John J. Baum, Jr., one sister and two brothers.  A memorial service will be held at 1:30PM Wednesday, April 4th at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May; friends may call from 12:30-1:30PM prior to service.  Contributions in his memory may be made to The Shepard’s Chapel, PO Box 416, Gravette, AR 72736.  Condolences may be shared at www.evoyfuneralhome.com.
