Obituary of Harry Sopuch

Harry Sopuch, 84, of Cape May Court House and formerly of Millville, NJ and Farmington, WV where he was born and raised, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018. He is the son of the late Peter and Anna (nee Leo) Sopuch and was the last of nine siblings. Harry served in the US Navy during the Korean War on an aircraft carrier on the Atlantic Ocean. He retired as a machinist from Airwork Corp., in Millville, NJ and was an active member of District 65 UAW Union. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Harry is survived by his wife of 62 years Rebecca J. (nee) Jarrett, his daughter Carrie (Allen) Gulajan, two sons Christopher (Monica) Sopuch and Kevin (Valerie) Sopuch, and three grandchildren, David, Jacob and Serena Gulajan. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be private at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd., Cape May Court House, NJ.
