Obituary of Elisabeth Edith Bartel

Elisabeth Edith Bartel, age 83, of Villas died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at home in Villas. Elisabeth was born April 8, 1934 in Neurohlau, Germany. She is the daughter of the late Gustav and the late Theresa Schneider.  She was a crossing guard for the City of Syracuse, NY for 32 years where she lived before moving to the Cape May area 4 years ago.  She is survived by one daughter: Anne (Richard) Chandler and one son: Michael (Doris) Bartel .  She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Bartel, her mother and father, her brother and her sister.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 6 at St. John Neumann Parish/ St. John Of God Church, 680 Town Bank Rd., N. Cape May, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received at the church from 10 to 11 am.  Interment will be private. Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com
