I live in Sea Isle, and my husband reads the obits posted in the AC Press every day. He saw your Mom's notice and the Darby mention and passed it on to me. My mother's name was also Anna (Orth) and she lived in her home on Pine Street from 1938 until her passing in 2004, at the age of 94.
I also lived on Pine Street (in my parents home) for almost 33 years and still remember the stories from my Mother of the Leinhauser family. Our home on Pine Street was just across the bridge and on the other side of the street. I believe there where some bakers in your family? While at 69 years old, I'm the youngest of our 6 kids, my brother Al would be 90 this June. Unfortunately, Al was killed in a diving accident at the age of 36, but at seems he and your Mother would have grown up together.
My husband and I will be out of town at the time of your Mom's services, or otherwise I would have attended. Sorry to make this so lengthy, but I wanted to express my deepest sympathy from a long time Darby neighbor. My parents also rest at Sts. Peter and Paul, so somehow our families still remain neighbors. God bless.
