Louella E. Carr, age 85, of North Cape May passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at Victoria Manor Nursing Home of North Cape May. Louella was born March 23, 1932 in Brooklawn, NJ. She is the daughter of the late George E and Clara Sayres. Louella enjoyed birdwatching, especially the birds in her feeder at home and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and their friends in the community. She also loved to knit and crochet. Louella is survived by three sons: Clayton F. (Elaine) Carr, Jr., Gregory (Tracey) Carr and Robert Carr; and two daughters: Deborah Carr and husband William Chiasson and Sheila (Gary) Playford; 10 grandchildren: Corinne, Crystal, Gary, Sarah, Greg, Paul, Joe, John, Maria, and Regina; 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and one sister Joan St. John. She was preceded in death by two brothers: George and Oscar. Friends may call from 4pm to 5pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., North Cape May, NJ. and a memorial service will be held at 5pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Contributions in Louella's memory may be made to Victoria Manor Nursing Center, 3809 Bayshore Rd., North Cape May, NJ 08204.
