Obituary of Michael A Walter

Michael A Walter, age 58, of N Cape May passed away as a result of a motor vehicle accident in St. Pawley Island, SC on Sunday, January 21, 2018. He was visiting South Carolina doing what he enjoyed – golf. He was born to Alice and the late Henry Walter in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in Cape May area since the age of 10. Michael had worked for Jersey Cape Realty. He also owned and operated MAW Builders of N. Cape May for 36 years and had learned the building trade from Clyde Stickle and Sons. Michael was a member of Lighthouse Church in CMCH, and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Laurie, and 2 daughters, Brynn (Paul) Schreader and Andrielle (Adam) Hinkle, his mother Alice Walter, six grandchildren, brother Henry Walter, sisters Traci McMahon and Caroline McDonnell. Funeral services will be held 10am Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at Lighthouse Church, 1248 Rt 9 South, CMCH.
