Dear Jake and Helen, I just got word from Alan that you lost your beloved Susan. Please accept my sincere sympathy. Your love and devotion to Susan inspired my family every summer when we would visit the shore. Know that you will both be in our prayers as you grieve. I hope we can express our sympathy personally this August.
We lost Jack suddenly on Thanksgiving. Love, Rita

I am so sorry to here about my favorite little girl. My Wednesday Vfw Girl. She has a special place in my heart and many of the customers at the Villas Vfw. I will miss dancing with Susie. She was a great dancer and singer slso. My condolences go out to her Mother and Father. They always made sure not to miss a Johnny Tocco show with Susan. I am sorry I missed her service yesterday but for some reason I didn't get the message till after the service. Her memory lives in our hearts! Hopefully she's with my mom up in heaven looking down at us dancing and kidding around like they always did. I am missing her tremendously already! To my little friend, Johnny Tocco.

We are sorry for your lost, she was a Beautiful gift from God, & he needed her home. Our thoughts & prayers are with your family. May Our Lord help you through this. We were Blessed to have known her, & danced with her at the VFW. God needed a rose, & so he came to take Susan home. May you find comfort in knowing you will be with her again. She is an Angel, smiling down. You are great parents, & she will live in our hearts, & all the wonderful memories we have of her. God Bless you all through this time.

My sympathy for the loss of your beautiful Daughter/Sister
The Bible calls death an enemy and when it takes those we love, it truly is
God has given us hope through the resurrection in which He will remember our dead loved ones and will bring them back to life on earth so they can enjoy living in peace forever. Jo 5:28,29. Ps 37:11,29. Isa 33:24
Imagine the day when there is no more tears of sorrow and death and pain are gone forever. Rev 21:3,4
I hope these promises will bring you comfort.

Dear Jake & Helen & Beth,
I admit I was surprised to hear Susan had died. Having come to know her, having heard the stories from you of all the many times death was predicted and/or anticipated yet Susan came through, knowing all her previous victories over death, I was surprised.
Please accept my condolences. I have held you in my prayers and so often in my thoughts, knowing only to a degree all you lived through each day. May your hearts, minds, and bodies find rest now. Susan has found hers.
You all worked so hard to hold each other up and to give Susan a full, meaningful life. I believe you gave her your all. What love you each demonstrated in your relating to her. All families have their struggles and their victories. All have their burdens and their blessings.
Knowing you, seeing you in action enriched my life and gave my faith strength in my ministry. May God's love hold you close and have peace! In Christ, Pastor Doug

Susie's passing is a terribly sad event, but Jake and Helen can take solace in the fact that thanks to their affirmative parenting, Susie had a full life. Their efforts on her behalf were nothing short of heroic. They may be sad, but they can also be proud.

Helen, Jake, Beth, and other members of the family,
On behalf of the congregation of Cold Spring Church, I offer our condolences, love, and prayers. We were shocked and saddened to learn of Susan’s passing. We will remember Susan as a delightful, inspiring, and faithful member of our community of faith. Effusive with joy, many remember her service as an acolyte, lighting the candles, and participating in many other ways. She reminded those who knew her of God’s presence and love.
“You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you” Matthew 5:4 (MSG).
As we mourn Susan’s passing with you, we also celebrate Susan’s life. Because Jesus rose from the dead, we will also rise. The Resurection is our comfort, and we pray that God will be present for you as our caring congregation stands with you in Christian hope now, and in the months and years to come.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kevin Yoho
Transformation Pastor
