Archibald Paterson Macmillan, Jr., "Pat" age 79, of North Cape May passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Pat is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Carol Macmillan. He also leaves behind two daughters: Lisa Macmillan of North Cape May and Gina Randall of Madison, NJ as well as a son-in-law Glenn Randall and four grandchildren that he cherished: Grace, Gregory, Gavin and Mason. Pat was born to Archibald and Grace Macmillan of Linden, NJ. He served as an Electronics Technician with the United States Navy while stationed in Puerto Rico from 1961-1965.. Pat worked as an Instrument Technician for DuPont for 25 years and Novartis for 15 years. He was an active volunteer with the Linden and Roselle Ambulance Corps and was a first aid and CPR instructor at Union County College. Pat performed as a soloist with the choir at the Reformed Church of Linden for many years and also served as a Deacon/Elder. After moving to Cape May in 2002, Pat worked as a Visitor Services Associate with the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities and spent his retirement tending to his lush garden and mowing his beloved lawn. A Memorial Service will be held at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204 on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Friends may call from 11 to 12 at the funeral home.
