Obituary of Frederick Maier

Frederick Maier, age 80, of Villas passed away peacefully Friday, September 29, 2017. Frederick was born March 17, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA. He is the son of the late Frederick and the late Emily (Zinsmeister) Maier. Fred was the owner/operator of the Firehouse Tavern in Wildwood for over 20 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann Marie (Hefferon) Maier, his daughter Lisa Maier Feenan, his brother Walter Maier, and his sisters Carol Maier and Eleanor Maier. Fred is survived by three daughters: Helene (Kurt) Riepen, Susan (Jeff) Sherman, and Joann (Fred) Oberhau; and one son: Frederick A Maier. Also surviving are his brother: Franklin (Marion) Maier; his sister Emily (Andy) Bisceglie; eight grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Linda Maier and a multitude of nieces, nephews, & friends.
