Obituary of James Conroy

James "Jim" Conroy, age 55, of Cape May Court House passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at home with his family by his side after a long battle with cancer.. Jim was born August 15, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA. and resided in the Cape May area most of his life. He was employed by Morey's Piers, Wildwood, NJ for 19 years as a mechanic. Jim enjoyed helping friends with their mechanical problems. He was a loving and caring father , husband and son.. He enjoyed fishing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his father Walter C. Conroy. He is survived by his mother Joan Conroy; his wife of 34 years Audrey Carr; three children, James (Tanya) Conroy, Ryan (Dana) Conroy and Corinne (Sam) DeNapoli; a brother Walter (Diane) Conroy; two sisters Joann Davino and Kimberly Vogelsong. He also leaves many niece and nephews and eight grandchildren. A Celebration of his Life is being planned.
