Florence M Pluta, age 90, of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Crest View Nursing Home of Langhorne, PA. Florence was born in Philadelphia, PA-, and was currently living in Levittown, PA. with Rick and Marie. She is formerly of New Port Richey, FL and the Cape May area (7 years). She was a member of St. John Neumann Parish, North Cape May, and also the Elks, Eagles and Moose Lodges in New Port Richey, FL. Florence enjoyed crocheting, sewing and was a very avid Phillies fan She is the daughter of the late Marion Moderski and the late Josephine (nee Ziegler) Moderski. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Edward S. Pluta, Sr.(2008) , son Edward S Pluta, Jr. (2016), brother John Moderski and grandson Rickie. She is survived by three sons: Rick (Marie) Pluta, Randy (Peggy) Pluta and Jaime (Maria) Pluta. Also surviving are her daughter-in-law Delores Pluta ; a sister Dot Stuski ; sister-in-law Noreen Moderski ; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
