I remember Billy with great fondness! As a kid I didn't have a car and regularily hitchhiked everywhere. Billy always picked us up and boy it was a great ride. He always had a hot car and was a great driver and fun to be with.
I'm sorry for his passing. Condolences to the family.
I will always have fond memories, and the poem he wrote for me will forever be cherished...I was his mail carrier, and he wrote a special poem for me and signed it "Poet lauriet of York Ave"...❤️
