Obituary of Almerinda R Borgia

Almerinda Rita Ettorre Borgia, age 95, of North Cape May, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at North Cape Center Nursing Home. Almerinda (known as Mary) was born October 1, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA. Along with her late husband Lawrence Borgia, she summered here for many years, and became a Villas, NJ resident in 1983. She is the daughter of the late Giuseppe Ettorre and the late Liberata (Falgiatore) Ettorre Arcaini. She was a member of St. John Neumann Parish. She was a passionate baseball, football and politics fan and an enthusiastic poker and bingo player. She is survived by her son Lawrence A. (Annette) Borgia of Bethlehem, PA, her daughters: Barbara (Charles) O'Reilly of North Cape May, NJ and Diana Borgia-Petro of Drexel Hill, PA, and five grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. John Neumann Parish/ St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Road, N Cape May, NJ where friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
