Obituary of Michael J DiMedio

Michael J. DiMedio, age 65, of Erma, NJ. passed away peacefully with his family by his side Tuesday, July 11, 2017. He is the son of the late Robert and the late Dorothy (Goodman) DiMedio. Michael was born August 27, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA; was a 1969 graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School; and remained very close to the members of his graduating class. Michael served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He received his Bachler's degree in Education from Stockton College and was employed by Wildwood High School, Wildwood, NJ as a Teacher. Michael enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, the beach, and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcia in 2011, his sister Susan Williamson, and his brother Robert DiMedio. Michael is survived by two daughters: Nicole Castellano & Liza (Spencer) Smith; and his son Adam DiMedio. Also surviving are: his sister Carol Gregg and his five grandchildren: Nico, Mikey, Zac, Spencer V, & Brody. There will be a Funeral Service at 2:30 PM on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
